My December Block is a winter scene with snow people and a Cardinal in a leafless tree in a snowfall. The snow people are done in the Raised Applique technique. The Cardinal, snowflakes and tree are wool felt or woven wool appliques. I embellished the snowflakes with glass seed, bugle and pearl beads. The block also has various embellishments including snowflake and Pine tree buttons and charms. Other embellishments include glass flower and heart beads, gold gingerbread men, a Christmas Stocking and tree charms plus flower, and snowflake sequins.
