ReplyDeleteA little bit about the block, my aunt sent me a greeting card that had a tree covered with butterflies and Dragonflies. (The last photo is of the card my aunt sent me) It also had one large dragonfly whose wings covered the top of the tree and it's body ran down the tree trunk. She thought it could be an inspiration for one of my blocks for the Crazy Quilt Journal Project 2018. I did use several elements from the card. At the base of the tree I have embroidered a likeness of my Service Dog , Pepper.
